What Men Say -Surveys

What they tried, what they like for penis enlargement
By now, everyone with a TV or computer has seen ads and information about pills, pumps, potions and contraptions for lengthening the penis. Surely you've wondered, does anyone really use that? And … (admit it, you DO wonder) how did it work?
Here's your chance to hear from the men who actually used the products. In a confidential survey of 940 men, questions sorted out the reactions to 5 different categories of penis enlargement options: pills/patches, pumps, traction devices, exercises and surgery. The survey was self-administered, meaning men took it privately in their own homes. It's also worth noting that, since some approaches have been around for a much longer period of time – for instance, traction devices are relatively new to the market, whereas penis pills have been out for a number of years now – the results may be somewhat indicative of an acceptance curve that may change over time.

First, the group was sorted out by the type of product they had tried. In the group of 940 responders, 43 percent had tried penis pills or patches; 28 percent had tried exercises; 21 percent had tried penis pumps; 12 percent had tried traction or stretching devices.

Next, men were asked about motivation – why do men seek penis enlargement? Out of a wide range of responses, the vast majority fell into three categories. Of the top 3 reasons men said they sought out penis enlargement, 41 percent said it was for their partner's satisfaction; 38 percent said to boost their self esteem; and 14 percent said to make them more sexually dominant.

Though most of the men who participated in the survey were users of some form of penis enhancement product themselves, they were asked why they believed men might resist buying penis enhancement products. Price was the biggest deterrent, said 44 percent of the survey participants. Another 27 percent said that men might feel there was not enough information available about the products, and 17 percent said perhaps some men were turned away by negative stories they might have heard.

As to what type of results they hoped to attain, men did not generally aspire to mammoth proportions – almost all of them expressed an interest in gaining 2 or 3 inches in length. Girth was not noted as a big area of concern, however, and most men also expressed that they would include better performance (harder erections, longer-lasting erections) as a more important goal than girth alone.

When men were asked to evaluate the products, they were able to give their impressions in each category. Pills and patches were rated at the top for convenience, ease of use, simplicity in acquiring, price appeal, and confidence that there would be no embarrassment. Men also liked penis pills better than pumps or surgery for penis enlargement; for performance enhancement, they ranked pills and patches highest of all. Of the name brands mentioned without prompting, a majority named VigRX pills and the MaxiDerm patch . Traction devices like the ProExtender, though new to the use-at-home market, were ranked better than pumps or surgery for enlargement, particularly when used in conjunction with pills or patches. Exercises were also popular among respondents, but while considered safe, they were also noted to be time-consuming, with the potential of incorrect technique and failure to consistently follow the program. Pumps were noted to give temporary results only, with the potential for discomfort and over-use that results in pain or chafing. Surgery was the least appealing option, who mostly noted the risks, costs and the “fear factor” as their biggest concerns.

Overall, the survey confirmed that all methods work, but that some methods work better than others, and some are simply more appealing to men for a variety of reasons. Individual body types and chemistry may have something to do with it as well, since certain men have better luck with some methods than others. There was no “shut-out” category, which indicates that every approach works for someone.
